Micah Timona Ferris has been accepted to do an MA in Creative Writing by the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University. Micah won the Margaret Mahy Award for the Top Year 1 folio in 2010 for her poetry collection. We wish her well and know that she will thrive in Wellington, especially as her tutor for this year will be Bernadette Hall who taught her here at Hagley Writers’ Institute in 2010.
Top graduate now at IIML
