NZ Poetry Day celebration…..

On NZ Poetry Day, Friday 16 August we celebrated our poetry talent by holding a competition for all students and graduates of the Institute. We asked them to write a response to one or more of the transitional artworks in the Chch Art Gallery Outerspaces exhibition. Our patron, Bernadette Hall was the judge and she announced the winners at our event and they read their poems along with poems from Frankie McMillan, Kerrin Sharpe, Bernadette, Jeffrey Paparoa Holman and Christina Stachurski. It was a great evening and a wonderful way to  promote the writing and reading of poetry.poetry winners
