Griffith Review novella competition

The Griffith Review‘s eighth novella competition is now open for entries from Australian and New Zealand writers.

The competition is part of the Novella Project publication series, and in this round the editors seek work on the theme of “generosities of spirit”, that is, work that celebrates kindness.

Entries can be fiction or creative non-fiction, and should be around 15,000 and 25,000 words long.

The winning novellas will be professionally edited and published, and the winners will share in a $25,000 prize pool.
